Hokkaido Fuki 18th June 2006 - one of only two plants grown from roots Hokkaido Fuki 4th July 2006 (a third plant has now emerged) By 27th August leaves were 30cm across

Fuki is growing well and spreading, but leaves suffer heavily from slugs and snails. The single flower bud earlier in the year never fully opened (insufficient sunshine in this location?) so we will have to wait until 2008 to learn more.
