We currently (April to May 2024) have part-time or full-time employment vacancies for trainee growers, with immediate or later start-dates up to June 2024. Experience is not essential but you must be genuinely interested in plants and horticulture, nature or nutrition. The average working day is 8 hours but can be much longer, with peak-season harvests starting at or before dawn at our site near Cooksbridge, 4 miles from Lewes. Farm work can be a demanding job that requires a real-time awareness of changing resources, a highly variable environment and often a tight schedule for getting things done.
